The pantry roof was the last part of the house that had a major leak. Eventually, we plan to have a 2nd story porch above this roof, so we decided to make it a flat roof right now while we were repairing it anyway. Our friend owns a roofing company, so we had a big crew helping us. We got the roof reframed and finished in 1 day. Now it’s all ready for a porch above it!

Our helpers also repaired some rotten framing on the kitchen, and laid subfloor in the pantry.
